31 Days to a New you: Day 19: Breath and relax

Filed in archive 31 Days to a New You on December 19, 2007

Stress takes a toll on our bodies and makes us feel more tired than we want to feel. Everyday we are faced with stressful situations that we need to deal with. Focusing on your health can be a stressful thing as well and make you feel even more stressed.

By taking a few moments each day to relax and stress down you will learn that most things in life aren't emergencies and can wait another few moments. It will also help you feel better about yourself as you clear your mind a little.

It will also help you re-focus on what's important in your life. When you start feeling less stressed your cravings for unhealthy food will also be more controlled. With a balanced mind you will not feel the same need to eat a sugar loaded cake but instead hopefully go for the more natural option.

This video shows you how to relax through breathing. It is a very relaxing video and will make you feel relaxed and perhaps even a little tired. As you repeat it daily or a few times a week you should see your concentration get better and you should feel less stressed. Less stress = more control over your emotions and habits. Healthy habits means a healthy you.

You will also be able to find similar videos at YouTube to help you relax better.
