31 Days to a New you: Day 3: There are no quick ways to weight loss
I could tell you that you should do everything you can to lose 10lbs before Christmas. I could perhaps even convince you to only eat lettuce for lunch so that you can lose the weight quicker.

And afterwards? When you have lost the 10lbs? Then will you keep it up?

I can totally understand those wanting to lose some weight for Christmas and New Year but the truth is, as I see it; your fight should have started months ago. Now you have about 3 weeks until Christmas, how much will you lose before then?

31 Days to a New you does not promise you weight losslinks but healthy habits. And I believe for you to succeed you need to focus on starting 2008 with healthy habits and not lose 10lbs until Christmas to then continue your unhealthy habits in January.

Think about how long it took you to gain the weight; do you think it will be quicker to lose the weight? You might lose it quickly but are you losing it for good?

Be kind to yourself and your body, don't stress yourself through December only thinking about losing weight. Think about how you will continue leading a healthy life next year instead, that is more important. Are you in it for the Holidays or are you in it for life?

Are you stressing yourself about losing weight before Christmas?
