31 Days to a New you: Day 7: Time to visit the gym
If you are really serious about losing weight and getting into shape again then it is necessary that you exercise.
One great way to do this is joining a gym. In fact I think everyone should be a member at a gym or have their own home gym.
It's time for you to familiarize yourself with the thought of joining a gym. For some it is really difficult and a real challenge. That is why we are going to only visit the gym.
Why visiting? Well it will give you a better feeling of the gym and its surroundings. You can see how close or far it is from your home, get to know the staff, ask about joining details, personal training should you want that, and to get used to the thought of actually going there at a later stage.
I won't tell you to join just yet, too many join a gym in the early Days and then stop going after 3-4 times. What we want to do here is building up a "relationship" with a gym so you can join and continue to go after a few weeks.
So your "mission" for this weekend is: Get a list of gyms close to your home or work and go visit them. Ask any necessary questions you might have and get all doubts sorted out. Then decide on one or two gyms you can see yourself going to and start preparing yourself mentally.
Have a nice Friday and if you want to enjoy a Friday drink remember, a small glass of wine or an alcohol free drink is preferred.
