31 Days to a New you:Day 14: Learn to say no

One of the hardest things to do is to say no. No one likes to say no because no matter how you do it someone will get sad because of that no.

Next time someone offer you food that you actually don't "need" but will eat to please someone then you need to say "No thanks" And you need to say it without feeling bad because on the opposite you are doing it for your sake, for the sake of your health. You need to learn how to say stop and think it through twice who you will make happy by eating the cake. It is surely not you who will end up happy.

It is so easy to give in and tell yourself that you will only eat one to please the person who is offering it, also know as the. I'm not sure if you have noticed but it is so much harder for a woman to turn down cookies and cakes than it is for a man. A man only need to say no once or twice while a woman is asked several times if she really doesn't want it. Why is that?

You will do yourself a great favor if you say no the next time and if you explain to the person who is offering the sweets and cakes why you are doing it they will probably insist a few times but then let it go. It is not the end of the world and you can always eat those cakes another time, just not this once. And of course there will be more temptations that you need to say no to.

It's not only to people you need to say no but to the temptations around you and mainly yourself. Who eats what is offered is you and the end decision is in your hands.
