5 easy tips (that works) for a lighter life

I read a post about 5 Ridiculous (but effective) Ways to lose weight.
The tips include: Exercise immediately after you eat, Drink 1liter of water before every meal (and more during), Eat foods that you don't like, walk or jog in place every time you are on the phone and break up your daily calories into incredibly small portions.
Well although I am not a Doctor or a nutritionist I can tell you five simple things anyone can do to lose weight.
Easy and not bad for your health in any way.
1: Drink more water. Water will help you burn the fat and get rid of any toxins you have. If two liters feels to much then start with one liter and make sure you drink that. Or drink two glasses of water every hour throughout the day.
2: Get 30 minutes of exercise every day. Walking, dancing in the living room, cleaning, whatever as long as you get a little bit sweaty.
3: Reduce your intake of carbohydrates and eat more vegetables instead. Fill half of your plate with vegetables instead.
4: Snacking is not prohibited, just eat good snacks. Forget the chips and other fatty sugar loaded desserts and have something simple with natural fat instead. A carrot with chickpea
hummus for example. 5: Last but not least; cut down on sugar! That one can be difficult for some, me for example, but well worth it. If sugar is not your thing then see what your weak points are and cut down on that.
Easy and simple and they work for anyone. Any other tips you want to add?
