A routine control

Most people don't like to go to the doctor.
I don't unless I am really ill or something serious has happened. It's not because I am afraid of the doctor, it's just that I think there are others that needs the doctors time more than I do.
And I am rarely that ill that I have to go which leads to another problem. I forget about the routine control. Which is a terrible thing actually.
If I don't take care of my body then who will?
If we don't take the car to the Mechanic once in awhile the car can fail on us. It's the same thing with the body.
Just because we think we're not ill it doesn't mean we shouldn't go for a check-up sometimes.
It's also important that we have a check-up before we take up an exercise after a long break. Here in Brazil it's obligatory to have a check-up before joining a gym. Which I think is a good thing actually. It probably leads to fewer injuries. Especially if you are suffering from a heart condition it's important to remember your check-up.
So take your time and make that appointment. And don't worry, it's just a routine control. Having a regular check-up will make your body work better for you.
