Are you a runner?

The Complete Running Net focuses on running and everything around it.
I actually prefer to go running instead of going to the gym. To run is more relaxing, you can gather your thoughts and afterwards you are ready to deal with the worlds problem again.
When I was a teenager I ran a lot. I ran 5 times a week, 6-8kilometers each time. Always trying to improve my time.
My physics teacher
found out and immediately told me to stop. He didn't think it was good for me. Reason being that I never participated with much joy at his lessons. As far as he knew I didn't know anything about running or sports.Actually I knew quite a deal, I studied the subject with great interest and arranged my whole life around my running. Meals, friends, studying etc.
I was just about to contact the local running club when summer came and I went on holiday. Do I need to say more... ? When I came back I hadn't been running for over 2 months and I never went back to run like I used to. Unfortunately.
But reading over at The Complete Running Net makes me think that I should start to run a bit more. Maybe not as much as I did when I was a teenager but at least half of it.
One article I likes is how to combine family and running. We all know that sometimes our family suffers with our exercising.
Some people like to run, others don't, what about you? Are you a runner?
