Are your friends making you fat?
It´s Friday and many of you are getting prepared to go out for a nice dinner with friends. Well be careful; your friends might be making you fat.

Depending on your friends eating habits you might eat up to 75% more calories than you normally would!
This is according to Brian Wansink who has written the book "Mindless Eating - Why We Eat More Than We Think".

When we are in good company we tend to forget how much we have eaten and we eat without actually being hungry. If you have friends that eat a lot they can make you eat more than you would if your friends were slow eaters for instance.

And when I think about it I think it makes sense. Because how many times haven't I eaten just to be a good company to those who are still eating? Or how many times haven't I snacked away without realizing it? And afterwards I sit with a full stomach and say that I ate too much.

So be aware of how much you eat, then you won't have to worry that you are eating too much. Take a look at your friends and see if they are eating more than they realize.

Have fun and enjoy your weekend.
