Maybe it's time for a challenge?
And this time I am not talking about weight loss challenges.
You can either challenge yourself of ask a friend to join you. You will motivate each other!
A challenge can be setting a special goal that you will achieve within a week. A reasonable one of course!
Or maybe go out doors and have a run. Challenge your friend to see who run's the fastest, or add weight to make it more difficult.
Try to find a steep hill, no too steep, see who can get up there the fastest. Make sure you can get down as well.
Instead of going to the gym, add an extra hour and take a long power walk instead.
Once again, you and your friend will walk as fast as you can.
Or if you want to you challenge yourself for the future. To be able to run the marathon in a set time or having walked x kilometers x times before the end of the year.
It doesn't need to be difficult. It is suppose to be fun to work out! A challenge is good for all of us!
