Coffee, good or bad for you?

The discussions about whether coffee is good for you or not are endless.
Everyday a new research shows that it's good or that we shouldn't drink it or…. Or that we should drink more.
I personally don't think that it has any benefits at all. Nothing that I've read has made me believe that it's actually good for me.
Well, according to a new research women who drinks ups to six cups of coffee every day are not likely to develop high blood pressure more than those who doesn't.
I don't drink 6 cups everyday but well 3-5. Do you think my chances are smaller or higher?
OK, a small coffee poll:
How many cups do you drink per day and do you think it's good or bad for you?

Coffee and such beverages containing caffeine massively deteriorates tooth enamel. It also stains teeth and make it yellowish and sort. So it would be good not to practice ourselves with such beverages.
There’s a great article discussing just this very subject on a health web site I visit. Short version is, coffee per se has some good things about it, but also some drawbacks, and it really depends upon your overall health as to whether it’s going to benefit you or harm you. http://www.womentowomen.com/fatigueandstress/effectsofcaffeine.aspx
PS I’m a tea drinker myself. Coffee tends to mess up my digestion, especially now that I have problems with dairy (can’t do black coffee, too acid). I loves me a good mocha now and again, like maybe once every couple of months, but that’s as much as I can handle. And there’s something about the caffeine in coffee that makes me really wired — caffeine in tea or even cola doesn’t do the same thing. Don’t know why!
Thanks for the link, Fenbeast. There are more articles on caffeine/coffee and its connection with health on the Women to Women site, too. I like…
