Green Tea Trend
Filed in archive Healthy Eating on February 16, 2007
Everyone who tries to lead a healthy life will come across green tea and hear how good it is for you. It's like a mantra, "if you want to stay healthy, drink green tea".
I don't know about you but I usually feel a bit bad about being addicted to coffee and black tea. I have to have coffee in the morning. Black strong coffee.
Yes if it's very cold outside I can drink tea. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love tea! There's no better tea than Twinnings Earl Grey. I love going to coffee or tea shops and smell until I can't smell anymore. And of course I have to bring something back home with me.
We know that green tea is good, but many of us don't know why. Green tea has alot of benefits; it contains antioxidants, which is essential for the body. Your immune system will thank you as it gets stronger, the risks of cancer are lower and your blood pressure will get better and so on, the list is endless.
Actually, when looking at it, it seems that Green tea is the Ultimate Tea. It seems to be good for everything!
It is also said that Green Tea can make you live longer.
It can even be used as a cooking ingredient. And if you want to go a step further you can use organic tea.
So how important is the Green Tea trend? And how many of us actually prefer to drink green tea instead of black tea? Are we just saying that we like green tea to show we are healthy when what we really want to do is go and get a cup of strong coffee?
Green tea, black tea or coffee? Tell me how you like it!
