Gym for senior

Gym for senior

Just like there are gyms for women there are now gyms for seniors.

I think this is great really. And I can totally understand why older people would like to work out with people in their own age group. We are different and so are our needs when it comes to training. So staying in an environment where you feel more relaxed will also give you a better result in the long run.

One thing that is different in the gym for those over 50 is the music, it is energizing yet has a calming affect.
The equipment is not your normal gym weights but suited for the senior members.

These gyms are becoming more and more popular and will only increase as far as studies shows.

And the oldest of the baby boomers, born between 1946 and 1964, started turning 60 last year. In less than 25 years, there will be more than 71 million 65-year-olds, twice as many as there were in 2000, according to the National Association of Area Agencies on Aging.

If you have yet not reached the age to join a ¨over 50¨ gym, would you when that time comes? I definitely would!

Wow, you didn’t notice you had an empty car seat on the bus? Kids (see this http://rapid4me.com/?q=kids )that age even on the bus are required to be in a seat. I have a 2 year old and yes they are sneaky, but getting by 2 adults when there are only 6 kids total is near impossible. If my child was at that daycare I would be looking for a new one.
