How do you treat your body?

How do you treat your body?
I rarely go to the Doctor. I only go if I am really ill and it's something that cannot be cured without a prescription.

Yesterday I had to go because I have had a terrible sinusitis the whole week and it hasn't gone away. I took some anti cold tablets but they didn't really help me so yesterday I decided to go to the doctor to end this suffering.

When I was sitting there waiting, and the wait is long for public health services in Brazil, I saw a lot of people walking in and out.
One thing that I thought about was that many of these people had a few extra kilos than they should've had.

Why am I saying this? Because if you are Overweight it is easier for you to get ill. High blood pressure, heart diseases, pain in your feet, the list is long.

I know it's not always easy to stay healthy and many of us have a few extra kilos, they come without us seeing it.
But being slim or within your normal weight range is not only to look good or to be able to wear the latest clothes. It for you own health.

And I said to myself that when I get older I really hope that I remember this and try to be active. The more active you are the less you will probably suffer when you get older.
At least that's my thoughts.

I hope you remember this as well.
Do you think about how you are treating your body for the future? It's going to last for many years to come still.
