How healthy are you?
Usually when we say that we should be healthier, we refer to things like doing exercise, eating well and getting enough sleep. Meaning: working out at least 3 times a week, being on a strict diet and not sleeping less than 8 hours per night.

Does that sound like you?

It doesn't sound like me, I'm sorry.

I must say it sounds a bit boring, especially the strict diet part. Who wants to be on a diet when there's so much delicious food out there just waiting to be eaten? I certainly don't want to miss out on any good food!

Of course it's wise and very good to exercise 3+ per week, eat a balanced diet and sleep enough. Some people actually don't need to sleep 8 hours every night to wake up and jump out of bed. Sometimes only 6 or less hours is enough for the body to get energy.

I think that a person who tries to exercise somewhat regularly and uses common sense when it comes to food and sleep is healthy. More healthy than someone who is constantly thinking about diets and exercise.
And does getting older mean that we get less healthy?

So sometimes we are healthy, we just don't realize that we are.
