How many calories have you burnt today?
This morning by ten o'clock I had already burnt 480 calories. And that was without going to the gym. It was all from moderate cleaning here at home and one hour rather brisk walk pushing my 15 kilo son in his stroller.

And I still have at least another 200 calories to burn as I still have lots of ironing and more cleaning to do.
So if you thought you weren't burning any calories from being at home "just cleaning" then you are wrong.

Last year I had a time when spent way too much time cleaning my house and I lost 4 kilos in a short time. I couldn't understand it because at the time I ate lots of cakes and sweets.
And it was all from cleaning because at the time I didn't exercise much.

I hope I made someone happy with that information. Since then I have stopped cleaning like that and started exercising instead.

How did I calculate how many calories I´ve burnt today? I used two different lists and calculated the time I´d spent doing my activities. Of course it´s impossible to know exactly how many calories that are burnt but at least the lists gives you some idea.

So don't feel bad for not going to the gym, burn some calories cleaning instead and get a spotless house.
