Improve your health with plants

Just as the sun and cleaning can improve your life, plants can help you feel less stressed.
You have probably heard about how talking to your plants will make them grow. If you have never tried talking to your plant, then give it a try. You don´t need to say much, eventually you might find yourself talking to the plant as if you were talking to a friend.
How can this help you? Well plants have a stimulating and calming effect on people.
They release energy and serve as an air cleaner. As you care for your plant you also care for yourself.
Having more plants and flowers around us makes us happy and gives us more energy.
A study report from Plants in Buildings shows:
When plants were added to this interior space, the participants were more productive (12% quicker reaction time on the computer task) and less stressed (systolic blood pressure readings lowered by one to four units). Immediately after completing the task, participants in the room with plants present reported feeling more attentive (an increase of 0.5 on a self-reported scale from one to five) than people in the room with no plants."

If you haven´t got any plants because they die on you all the time then maybe you should try and change that. You should take care of your plant everyday to insure that it will survive. Obviously some plants are more tolerant than others.
Plants can also be used in teaching children responsibility. By learning how to care for a plant they learn that if you don't care enough the plant will die.
Get some green plants for your home and office and you will see how you will feel less stressed and get more energy. More energy means that you will be more active and by being more active you improve your life quality.
