Is it possible to be fat and fit at the same time?
That is a very good question. Many overweight workout more than thin people and still they are considered unhealthy.

Being thin doesn't mean you are fit, that is something we should remember. So if you are overweight but active? A study from last year show that overweight women who exercise are still at greater risk for heart diseases.
A large, new study undermines that argument, concluding that while both fitness and fatness are important, no amount of physical activity can completely erase the risks of being overweight.

Well that being said, the researches continues and another study shows that 75 minutes of exercise every week is enough to increase the fitness levels in overweight women.

So being thin is good, but when you hear that being fat and fit is better than being thin and idle?
Well you can be fat and fit at the same time yes. Sure, being overweight isn´t the best thing and it would be good it you could lose a few kilos.
But the important thing is that whether you are thin or fat you should always try to exercise regularly. Short or long walks, running or cycling, whatever you do will be good as long as you keep it up.
