Light up your life.
Even if you are now staying in the sun and not thinking too much about the darkness that is approaching it can be good to start thinking about it.

The suicidal rate for Nordic countries is higher than in warmer countries. Scientists have always said that it has to do with the light. There is not enough sunshine and daylight to get the happy endorphins that we get from the sunlight.
Scientists call it SAD; Seasonal Affective Disorder.

Due to the lack of sunshine many Scandinavians uses more lights to extend the days. Light and bright is the motto.
Light therapy is something that has been around for a few years now. There are special clinics you can stay at that offers light therapy. Their rooms are white are very bright.

If you feel that you often get tired, lose your appetite, feel sad and so on when autumn arrives, then you might be in need of some more light.

You might not need light therapy but there are things you can do to lighten up your days. Stay outside as much as possible during the day. If you are stuck in an office make sure the blinds are up, get some extra plants for your office and home. Get extra lights at home and decorate with bright colors.

By doing these little things you will improve your life quality and you might even enjoy the darker evenings.
