If you haven´t got any kids you might not know what this is. The 3rd of October is the walk to school day all over the world. It's an effort to make students walk more and not use public transport. This will reduce pollution and hopefully promote a healthier lifestyle.
The idea to walk to school started in Great Britain 1994 and has now spread all over the world.
October is the walk to school month so if you missed the start on Wednesday there is still plenty of time to participate. Schools should have ongoing events throughout the whole month.
If your child's school is not active then why not encourage them to participate?
