Simple interval running
I hope you are having a nice Saturday wherever you are. We are having storms here and have had so for the last few days, thereof my absence. Frequent power cuts means no Internet access, I do hope this storm takes off soon though.

You may have heard runners talking about running in intervals as well as long distance running. Running in intervals is fun and challenging as well as different from the normal run.

When you run in intervals you simply change your speed throughout the run. You can jog for a few minutes, run fast a few minutes, run a bit slower, jog again, and then race yourself. By doing this frequently when you train you will see that you can run faster and further than you could before. Of course the intensity of your intervals depends on your fitness level and goals, if you are an athlete you train more intense.

You can do interval training running up and down hills which is a bit more challenging and your legs really get a good workout from it.

I really like interval training so if you are tired of running the same way everyday and need some challenging this might be for you to try.
