Skipping for better health

Did you think that skipping was only meant for little girls? Then it's about time you change your mind.
Skipping is an excellent exercise that can be done by most people. A skipping rope is very easy to carry around and all you really need is a good pair of shoes and comfortable clothes.
You can go as fast as you want and can or as slow as you feel like.
If you have kids around they will gladly help you.
Why not make a skipping contest with the kids? There are loads of rhymes you can use to make it extra fun.
By skipping you will burn calories, get stronger legs, and the whole body will get a good work-out.
In the beginning you might get a bit tired but after a few times you'll feel that you can skip for longer and longer.
It might not be the ideal exercise for everyone though. If you are having knee/joint problems you should be extra careful and maybe consider another exercise.
It's a good exercise and fun at the same time, so go get yourself that skipping rope.
