Snack Time

You just don't know where to start and what to eat. After all you are trying to eat healthily.
I usually have this sensation everyday so I know exactly what you're going through. I love sweets but of course I can't eat it everyday even though I'd like to.
First of all I actually think it's all in your mind. It's a habit really. Are you hungry when you are occupied? Being bored often leads to snacking.
One rule is to avoid sugar. It won't help you through the afternoon. A good tip that actually works is to carry carrots with you. They are sweet and will satisfy your sugar levels for at least a while.
Be aware of snack bars. Take a closer look at the nutrition facts, is it really healthy? 0% fat doesn't mean it doesn't contain sugar.
Sugar-calories-fat.
Brown Sugar
free bread is usually a good option if you don't add marmalade or something with a high sugar content. Rye bread is an excellent option as it is high in fibres and low in fat.An ideal choice is something that is low in sugar, high in fibres and low in fat but that still gives you energy. Quick, healthy, easy snack isn't difficult to prepare if you know how to.
How's your snacking habits? Do you snack a lot? Give us your best healthy snack and I will post it here.
