Sugaroholics- beat the sugar cravings

If there was such a thing as "Anonymous Sugaroholics" I would go there. It doesn't even need to be anonymous, I'd go anyway. I wish I could tell you I am this incredibly perfect fit person that doesn't crave sugar but I'd be lying if I said that. I crave sugar everyday just like millions of other people throughout the world.
But you know what? It's all in our minds, and of course in the body but mainly in our minds. I know that when I crave sugar it's because it's a habit to eat it or I'm hungry. That is the first step to a sugar free life I think, to recognize when you crave it.
Replacing your sugar with fat can actually work when you try to beat your cravings. It's the beginning that's the hardest but after a week you should see that your cravings are either gone or fewer. I haven't tried that myself but I have heard of those who have tried it and it has worked very well for them.
Jack Lalanne was spot on when he talked about "sugaroholics" back in the 60's. I found this short clip entertaining and inspiring. He says something very good; "help yourself a little bit". We can listen to all the advice in the world but it's we, you and me, that have to do something about it.
It is only supposed to take five days. Now five days can't be that hard not can it? *trying to convince myself here*
