Take a health trip to the past

When was The Last Time you took a health trip to the past to check in on yourself?
Some people say you are not supposed to look back but forward. Well in this case we are looking back in time.

If you are not happy with your current health situation then think back about when you were. Write everything down as far as you remember or until the time when you felt really good.
It can be something like this:

1999 – Knee injury, bed rest. Didn't feel too good, wanted to get up more.
2000- Recovered from knee injury – Started running again. Felt good.
2001- I am running almost every day and participating in a few events. Not at my goal yet but I am feeling very good.
2002- I'm on top! Training is excellent, work is great and I feel I can handle almost anything.
2003- Work is quite demanding. No time to run as much as I'd like to.
2004- I go to the gym once in a while; I am gaining weight as a result.
2005- Exercise, what is that? I have no time, work is too demanding and I'm too tired.
2006- I have gained another 10 kilos and I have started several diets. No success.
2007- This is the year I will change! I am going to cut down on work and find time for myself and go back to 2002.

Think back to when you felt good and why. What was so good about 2002? And why was 2006 such a disappointing year? Maybe you were looking in the wrong direction and focusing on the wrong things?

It is never too late to get healthy.
We always have a choice, even when it doesn't seem like it. Why not make that choice and get healthier today; there is no use in waiting until Monday.
