The eating out problem
When you are trying to stick to a diet sometimes you limit your life and say: No I can't go out. What about my diet?

Well there are simple ways you can still enjoy eating out and having a nice time without anyone even realizing you are on a diet.
It's all about choosing.

If at all possible, invite your friends over and make the food yourself. That way you can eat according to your own choices.
If you are going to a restaurant, try and choose one that has plenty of options and not only pizza and pasta. Today's worldwide restaurants provide plenty of options.

Have a look at the menu, if you are having a 3 course dinner then you better choose wisely.

Starter: Have a salad without dressing or something else that is not filled with carbohydrates. Sushi might not be the right option then.
Main: Here you can have some carbohydrates but if the portion is big ask to have some extra vegetables on the side instead. Your plate should include protein as well, preferably something that has not been deep fried. Grilled, Poached or steamed is good. Chicken or fish are usually very good options.
Dessert: Don't think that you can't have dessert because you can. If there is only chocolate cake with cream as an option ask to replace the cream with strawberries for example.
Or a fruit salad is better than a pie.

It's not very difficult to eat out. You just have to be food smart and then you can have a great time! Ask for special options if the restaurant doesn't offer it.

Usually we spend too much time worrying about what we are going to eat than enjoying ourselves and taking the opportunities that life gives us.
