Time for PAN 2007
Today is the first day of PAN American Games 2007 held here in Brazil.
It is shown live on TV at the moment and the expectations are very high. Everyone, not only athletes are talking about it.
PAN is being held in Rio de Janeiro and there are 42 countries participating and competing in 44 different sports. From my city we have a girl competing in Taekwondo, and everyone is hoping for her to win. Natalia Falavigna, who also happens to be my ex-boss daughter, was chosen the best Brazilian athlete in 2005.
Brazil has invested Billions of Reais instead of a few hundred thousand like it was supposed to be from the beginning. In January the press commented that they were worried it would not be finished on time.
