Two common sport injuries you might come across
The times I have sprained my left ankle are innumerous.

Once I sprained my ankle three times in one summer! I always had to be careful as a teenager and I often wore a support sock to avoid injuries.
Now it has been years since I last limped around the house.

Here are two common sport injuries you might come across.

According to Fitness Products blog it is injuring the hamstrings that is the most common injury.
It was surprising to find out that stretching immediately before an activity really doesn't help you at all in preventing injuries to body parts such as the hamstring.
That´s interesting. Reading further it does say that a few extra stretch per week will help this.

Knee pain is the second one. Almost all fitness enthusiasts get knee pain some time.
Usually it is because of overuse, running, stair walking, etc. But the more you use your knees the stronger they get. If you often are in pain it can be good to go to the doctor to check that everything is alright.

Avoiding sport injuries is probably not possible unless you have a lot of luck. Taking it easy and listening to your body will help in the long run. Rest is important as well as good shoes.
