Have you ever heard someone saying that you should eat more carrots if you're having trouble seeing in the dark? Well fact is, carrots are an excellent source of Vitamin A.
Be aware though, if you eat too many carrots a day your skin can turn yellow. Yes it's true!
It has to do with the high level of Vitamin A and the body's reaction to store it.
Other sources of Vitamin A is broccoli, but you have to eat nearly three times more broccoli to come up to the same intake of vitamin A as in one carrot.
If carrots isn't tempting you can relax and continue to eat your meat and fish as it also contains a good intake of Vitamin A.
Also filling you plate with various kinds of vegetables is always a good option.
Do you get enough Vitamin A?
