Walking to work
Walking to work instead of taking the car or use public transportation can be a great way to exercise. Too many use the car to go to work when they really could've walked instead.

If you live really far then of course this is not an option but if you only have a few kilometers or miles to work then there is really no reason why you shouldn't walk. It will be a great way to start your day and your energy levels will rise as you continue to walk every week.

Walking everyday or even back and forth may not be an option for you but if you try to walk to work a few times a week you will feel so much better. You might even find it's closer than you thought it was.

The benefits of walking to work are many, you save time and money, help the nature and you get fit. Four very good reasons if you ask me. How do you save time when it takes longer to walk to work than driving the car? Simple; you can cut down on the time you spend looking for a parking slot and the walks replace some of the time you would spend in the gym later that day.

Don't let rainy days stop you from walking. Invest in a good raincoat or umbrella and continue to walk as usual. You can either walk to work in your normal clothes or you can change when you arrive at work.

If you belong to the group who always say you will start on Monday then let this Monday be the day you start walking to work.
