When a mile feels like ten miles
There are days we really have no energy whatsoever go out to run, walk or exercise. Days when all you want to do is stay inside and do nothing.

But you go out and you start walking. But your legs are heavy and every step is a pain. It feels as if the road you are walking is never ending and you are not sure how to get back home quick enough.

So you have two options; either continue to walk and hope that you will feel better afterwards, which you probably will. Or you can turn back and go home.

It´s OK you know to skip once in a while. No one is forcing you to exercise and you can always do it tomorrow. That is; if you know you will do it tomorrow. There is no need to try and kid yourself and say you will when you know you won´t.

So if you have a day when a one mile walk feels like a ten mile walk then do what feels best for you. Taking care of yourself one day is more important and will give you energy to continue tomorrow.
Then the ten mile run might feel like a one mile run
