Staying fit is finally making a comeback in local schools around America. It is with the help of a new program called Live Well Kids, under the youth obesity prevention program that has changed the humble beginnings for children in the US. The youth obesity prevention program aims to promote not just healthy eating by providing and inspecting canteen foods, but also providing small sessions during the day where kids can exercise.
For most schools like the Evans Ranch Elementary, a part of the day at school means that kids are invited to participate in healthy exercise. They might start off their day in assembly doing star jumps, have a few more activities at recess and lunch, and finish it off at the end of the day playing a quick game or two within the classrooms.
