Resolutions Not Translating Into Better Fitness

While many Americans head into a new year with high hopes, it seems to be incredibly challenging for people to stay committed to their fitness goals. Following through with their resolutions, especially with everyday demands standing in the way, is what makes fitness difficult for most people. With personal trainers becoming more accessible, an increasing number want to learn how to exercise from fitness professionals. Education and credentialing for personal trainers have become more important over time to health and fitness facilities.
Only 28 percent of Americans report exercising more frequently this year than in 2010. With an estimated 80 percent of Americans not having a regular exercise program or a place to exercise, health and fitness professionals search for new ways to deliver their services to people who need them.
